Class Bio Book: 

We are asking each of our 1976 classmates to write a short autobiography about your life. Include: Education, Occupations, Military Service, Marriage, Children, Grand Children, Adventures and whatever else you want to share. Be sure to include photos! 

Each class member will have a front and back page for your story and photos. We do ask that you use the Bio form below to submit your story and pictures. The deadline for submitting these will be August 10, 2026. The books will be available to pre-
order when you register and then we will have them ready when you arrive for our celebration weekend. The deadline to order books will be September 1, 2026. Contact us if you need a book mailed.

Donations: As with any event, there will be expenses for putting on our 50th Reunion celebration, and we do not receive funding from any organizations, so any donations you care to make will be gratefully appreciated. Also, the Class of 1976 has set up a Legacy account with the Alumni Association for use towards special projects at GHS. Links towards both funds are below.

Schedule of Events

Thursday, October 8, 2026
* 5:00 P.M. - Registration, social time, and meal - Join classmates for registration, visiting,
reminiscing, and an informal meal at Shiraz (formerly the Buffalo Inn Restaurant) 824 W
Highway 24. Ordering will be from the menu.

Friday, October 9, 2026
*11:00 A.M. - Lunch at Crazy R's Bar and Grill, 1618 Main St. Registration will continue
and there will be more time to reconnect. Order from the menu.
*1:15 P.M. - Parade Line-up at Max Jones Parking Lot. The Class of 1976 will have a float
for all class members to ride. Wear your T-shirt (if you ordered one). Feel free to bring
candy/treats to throw out as all Goodland grade school kids will be there.
* 2:00 P.M. - Parade - the parade route will be from the Max parking lot to Main, up to 8th
Street, then back to the Max.
* 3:00 P.M. - Pep Rally at the Max - The Class of '76 will sit together and will be
introduced during the assembly. Class pictures will be taken following the rally.
* 4:00 P.M. - Tour of the Max and the High School.  Both buildings have had extensive
remodeling.
* 5:00 P.M. - Chili Feed in the HS Cafeteria -  Enter on the Northeast corner of the High
School. Pay at the door. Hamburgers/cheeseburgers are also available at the concession
stand and can be brought into the cafeteria.
* 6:00 P.M. - Goodland Cowboys vs. Colby Eagles Football Game - The long-time rivalry
continues! There will be special seating for class members and one guest.
* 8:30 P.M. - Post-Game Get Together at Shiraz - Cash Bar, munchies and more fun times
together!

Saturday, October 10, 2026
* 10:00 A.M. - Tour of Rod Cooper Properties including the historic Gulick-Cooper House
and the White Eagle Gas Station.
* 12:00 P.M. - Lunch at Shiraz - There will be a buffet.
* 1:30 P.M. - Tour of Fort Hays Tech Northwest - Meet with Administrators then tour the
campus.
* 5:30 P.M. - Social Time and Banquet at Shiraz - Reservations are required and can be
made at the time of Registration. The deadline for Dinner Reservations is September 1,
2026.
